The Influence of leadership and workpalce environment on employee performance at the environment and forestry office of Kendary city

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there is an effect of leadership and work environment on the Performance of Environmental Service Employees and Kendari City Forestry. The research method used is the descriptive analysis method quantitative and using multiple linear regression analysis method. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The population in this study amounted to 142 people with a sampling technique using a Likert scale so that a sample is obtained as many as 56 people. The data is statistically processed using SPSS program tools for widows. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously and partially leadership and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the service Kendari City Environment and Forestry. The value of R Square is 0.614 which means that the ability of the leadership variable and workplace environment can explain the variable employee performance is 61.4% and the remaining 39.6% is explained by the independent variable which not researched.
